JANUARY SCRIPTURE: PHILIPPIANS 4V6-7.
THEME: “BE ANXIOUS FOR NOTHING”
OVERCOMING WORRIES AND ANXIETIES SERIES
DAY 15: MONDAY JANUARY 15. 2024.
TODAY’S INSPIRATION: MATTHEW 6V33-34.
“³³But seek ye first the kingdom of God, and his righteousness; and all these things shall be added unto you.
34 Take therefore no thought for the morrow: for the morrow shall take thought for the things of itself. Sufficient unto the day is the evil thereof.” (KJV)
INSPIRATION NOTE:
In Matthew 6:33-34, Jesus encourages his followers to seek first the kingdom of God and His righteousness, assuring them that God will provide for their needs.
This perspective helps to overcome worries and anxieties by shifting the focus from earthly concerns to God’s sovereignty and provision.
Trusting in God’s timing and purposes can bring peace in the midst of uncertainty and troubles.
PRAYER:
Heavenly Father,
Help us to prioritize seeking Your kingdom and righteousness above all else. Grant us the faith to trust in Your provision and to cast our worries and anxieties upon You, knowing that You care for us.
In Jesus’ name we pray, Amen.
