MONTHLY NEWSLETTER With Rev. Dr. C. A. Onitiri (April 2026 Edition)

“If my people, which are called by my name, shall humble themselves, and pray, and seek my face, and turn from their wicked ways; then will I hear from heaven, and will forgive their sin, and will heal their land.” — 2 Chronicles 7:14 (KJV)

Beloved in the Lord,

Grace and peace be multiplied unto you in the mighty name of Jesus Christ.

Welcome to the blessed month of April 2026—a month divinely positioned for restoration, healing, and spiritual renewal. As the Lord ushers us into this new season, may He awaken in us a deeper hunger for His presence and a sincere desire to walk in His ways.

This month, may every dry area of your life receive divine healing, and may your spirit be revived for greater intimacy with God in Jesus’ name. Amen.

The anchor scripture for this month, 2 Chronicles 7:14, is one of the most powerful covenant promises of God to His people. It reveals a divine formula for restoration, forgiveness, and national transformation.

This scripture was given during the dedication of Solomon’s temple—a moment of glory and divine visitation. Yet, God looked beyond the celebration and addressed the condition for sustained blessings.

It teaches us that revival is not accidental—it is intentional. God’s restoration is available, but it is accessed through a heart posture and spiritual responsibility.

This verse outlines four divine conditions and three powerful promises:

THE CONDITIONS

  1. “If my people… shall humble themselves”

Humility is the foundation of restoration. It requires acknowledging our dependence on God and surrendering pride.

  1. “And pray”
Prayer is the channel of communication with God. It is through prayer that we invite divine intervention.
  2. “And seek my face”
Seeking God’s face goes beyond asking—it means pursuing His presence, His will, and His nature.
  3. “And turn from their wicked ways”
True repentance involves a deliberate turning away from sin and disobedience.

THE PROMISES

  1. “Then will I hear from heaven” God responds to genuine repentance and prayer.
  2. “And will forgive their sin”

Divine mercy is released when there is sincere turning.

  1. “And will heal their land” Healing comes not only to individuals but also to families, communities, and nations.
  1. The People of Nineveh – A Nation That Repented

Jonah 3:5–10
When the people of Nineveh humbled themselves, prayed, and turned from evil, God withheld judgment and brought restoration.

  1. King Hezekiah – Personal and National Revival

2 Chronicles 29–31
Hezekiah led Judah in repentance and restoration of true worship, resulting in divine healing and renewed covenant blessings.

  1. The Prodigal Son – Restoration Through Repentance

Luke 15:11–24
When the prodigal son humbled himself and returned, he experienced forgiveness, acceptance, and restoration.

Joel 2:12–13 — “Turn ye even to me with all your heart…”

Psalm 51:17 — A broken and contrite heart God will not despise

Isaiah 1:18 — “Though your sins be as scarlet…”

James 4:8 — “Draw nigh to God, and he will draw nigh to you”

These passages reaffirm that God’s mercy is always available to the repentant heart.

  1. Revival Begins with You
Change does not start from the outside—it starts within.
  2. Humility Attracts God’s Presence
Pride repels grace, but humility invites divine help.
  3. Prayer Must Be Consistent A praying believer is a prevailing believer.
  4. Repentance is Key to Restoration You cannot walk in newness while holding on to old ways.
  5. God is Always Willing to Restore No matter how far one has gone, God’s mercy is greater.

I walk in humility and total surrender to God

My prayer life is revived and empowered

I seek God’s face continually and passionately

Every wrong way in my life is corrected

God hears me, forgives me, and restores all that I have lost

My life, family, and land receive divine healing in Jesus’ name!

Beloved, this month is a divine invitation to return, reconnect, and be restored.

God is calling His people—not strangers, but those who bear His name—to a deeper walk with Him. The promise is clear: if we respond, He will restore.

Let this April be marked by true repentance, fervent prayer, and a renewed pursuit of God’s presence.

May the Lord heal every broken place in your life and establish you in His righteousness.

HAPPY NEW MONTH!

A Month of Restoration, Revival, and Divine Healing!

Shalom !
