TODAY’S INSPIRATION: PSALM 62V1-6.

¹ Truly my soul waiteth upon God: from him cometh my salvation.

² He only is my rock and my salvation; he is my defence; I shall not be greatly moved.

³ How long will ye imagine mischief against a man? ye shall be slain all of you: as a bowing wall shall ye be, and as a tottering fence.

⁴ They only consult to cast him down from his excellency: they delight in lies: they bless with their mouth, but they curse inwardly. Selah.

⁵ My soul, wait thou only upon God; for my expectation is from him.

⁶ He only is my rock and my salvation: he is my defence; I shall not be moved.” (KJV)

INSPIRATION NOTE:

In Psalm 62 verses 1 to 6, we witness the psalmist’s plea for restoration and renewed strength. This passage highlights the importance of turning to God as the ultimate source of refuge and deliverance, trusting in His power to heal and restore. It serves as a profound reminder to rely on God in times of brokenness, knowing that He can bring about transformation and renewal in our lives.

PRAYER:

Heavenly Father,

In light of Psalm 62 verses 1 to 6, we come before You with humble hearts, seeking Your presence and guidance. As the psalmist did, we trust in You alone as our refuge and source of strength. We surrender our worries, burdens, and anxieties at Your feet, knowing that You are our rock and salvation. Restore our weary souls, O Lord, and renew our hope in You. Teach us to lean on Your unfailing love and grants us the courage to wait patiently for Your perfect timing. In these moments of prayer, may Your peace envelop us, reminding us that You are our ever-present help in times of trouble.
