MONTHLY NEWSLETTER With Rev Dr. C. A. Onitiri (February 2025 Edition)

“Now unto him that is able to do exceeding abundantly above all that we ask or think, according to the power that worketh in us.” (KJV)

Beloved in Christ, welcome to the month of February 2025!

We give thanks to God for His faithfulness and sustaining grace. As we journey through this month, may we experience divine surprises, open doors, and the fulfillment of God’s promises in our lives in Jesus name. Amen!

Our theme for this month is drawn from Ephesians 3:20 (KJV):
“Now unto him that is able to do exceeding abundantly above all that we ask or think, according to the power that worketh in us.”
This scripture reminds us that God is not limited by our thoughts, requests, or imaginations—He is able to exceed them!

Ephesians 3:20 is a powerful declaration of God’s limitless ability. The Apostle Paul, in his letter to the Ephesians, speaks of God’s capacity to exceed human expectations in ways beyond comprehension.

  1. God’s Ability Is Beyond Measure – He is able to do far more than we can conceive (Jeremiah 32:27).
  2. God’s Work in Us – His power is already at work within us through the Holy Spirit (Romans 8:11).
  3. Exceeding Abundance – The phrase “exceeding abundantly above” signifies that God’s blessings are not just enough but overflowing (Psalm 23:5).
  4. Faith and Expectation – Our expectations must align with God’s Word to experience His extraordinary power (Hebrews 11:6).
  1. Never Limit God – What seems impossible to man is possible with God (Luke 1:37).
  2. Pray Big, Expect Bigger – Our prayers should reflect faith in God’s greatness (Mark 11:24).
  3. Stay Connected to the Power Source – The more we yield to the Holy Spirit, the more we experience His exceeding greatness (Acts 1:8).
  4. Trust God’s Timing – His answers may come in ways we don’t expect but always at the perfect time (Isaiah 55:8-9).
  5. Live in Thanksgiving – Those who trust in God’s abundant ability should always live in gratitude (1 Thessalonians 5:18).
  1. Abraham and Sarah (Genesis 21:1-7) – God gave them a son at an impossible age, beyond what they had hoped for.

    2. Joseph (Genesis 41:39-44) – From a prisoner to the second-in-command in Egypt—God elevated him beyond expectations.

      3. The Widow of Zarephath (1 Kings 17:8-16) – She expected to die of starvation, but God provided an unending supply of food.

        4. Peter and the Miraculous Catch (Luke 5:1-7) – After catching nothing all night, one word from Jesus led to an overflow of fish.

          5. Paul and Silas (Acts 16:25-26) – Their imprisonment seemed hopeless, but God not only freed them but also led to the salvation of the jailer.

Jeremiah 33:3 – God promises to show us great and mighty things beyond our understanding.

2 Corinthians 9:8 – God is able to bless us abundantly in every good work.

Romans 16:25-27 – God’s power is at work in revealing mysteries beyond human understanding.

Isaiah 43:19 – He will do a new thing—beyond what we have seen before.

As we step into February 2025, let our faith be strong, our prayers be bold, and our expectations be high.

God is not just able—He is willing to do far beyond what we ask or imagine! Keep trusting, keep believing, and watch as He exceeds your expectations this month and beyond.

May the Lord bless you exceedingly, abundantly, above all you could ask or think!

            Shalom!
