DAILY INSPIRATION Wednesday November 8. 2023.

30 And grieve not the holy Spirit of God, whereby ye are sealed unto the day of redemption.

31 Let all bitterness, and wrath, and anger, and clamour, and evil speaking, be put away from you, with all malice:

32 And be ye kind one to another, tenderhearted, forgiving one another, even as God for Christ’s sake hath forgiven you.” (KJV)

Ephesians 4:30-32 emphasizes the role of reconciliation in the life of believers. In this passage, the apostle Paul encourages believers to be mindful of the Holy Spirit’s presence within them, reminding them not to grieve or quench the Spirit, but to allow the Spirit’s transformative work to restore and reconcile relationships. Paul teaches that by putting away bitterness, wrath, anger, clamor, and slander, believers should instead exhibit kindness, tenderheartedness, and forgiveness toward one another, just as God in Christ forgave them.

Heavenly Father, we come before you seeking your guidance and strength in the journey of reconciliation. Help us, by the power of your Holy Spirit, to let go of bitterness and anger, and to cultivate kindness and forgiveness in our relationships. Teach us to be tenderhearted and understanding, following the example of Christ’s love and forgiveness. Grant us the wisdom to know when to apologize, when to seek reconciliation, and when to extend grace. May reconciliation flow through our lives and bring healing to broken relationships, ultimately bringing glory to your name. In Jesus’ name, we pray. Amen.
