SEPTEMBER SCRIPTURE: MICAH 2V12-13.

THEME: “THE PROMISE OF DELIVERANCE SERIES”

DAY 18: MONDAY SEPTEMBER 18. 2023.

TODAY’S INSPIRATION: PSALM 28V1-5

1 Unto thee will I cry, O LORD my rock; be not silent to me: lest, if thou be silent to me, I become like them that go down into the pit.

2 Hear the voice of my supplications, when I cry unto thee, when I lift up my hands toward thy holy oracle.

3 Draw me not away with the wicked, and with the workers of iniquity, which speak peace to their neighbours, but mischief is in their hearts.

4 Give them according to their deeds, and according to the wickedness of their endeavours: give them after the work of their hands; render to them their desert.

5 Because they regard not the works of the LORD, nor the operation of his hands, he shall destroy them, and not build them up.” (KJV)

Heavenly Father,

In light of Psalm 28:1-5, we humbly come before Your throne, placing our trust in Your promise of deliverance. As the psalmist sought Your intervention in times of trouble, we too seek Your guidance and protection.

You are our rock and shield, and we find solace in knowing that You are our source of strength and safety. Grant us the wisdom to seek You earnestly when faced with challenges and uncertainties. Help us to place our complete trust in Your unfailing love and faithfulness.

As we navigate through life’s trials, we ask for Your deliverance from all forms of adversity. Surround us with Your heavenly presence, oh Lord, and lead us on the path of righteousness. May Your grace and mercy sustain us, and may we always find refuge in Your loving embrace.

In Jesus’ name, we pray. Amen.
