TODAY’S INSPIRATION: COLOSSIANS 1V20-22.

“20 And, having made peace through the blood of his cross, by him to reconcile all things unto himself; by him, I say, whether they be things in earth, or things in heaven.

21 And you, that were sometime alienated and enemies in your mind by wicked works, yet now hath he reconciled

22 In the body of his flesh through death, to present you holy and unblameable and unreproveable in his sight:” (KJV)

INSPIRATION NOTE:

In reflecting upon Colossians 1:20-22, we are presented with a profound message that holds tremendous inspiration and encouragement. These verses encapsulate the essence of God’s redemptive work through Jesus Christ and emphasize the transformative power of His love and grace.

The passage begins by affirming Christ’s role as the ultimate reconciler, stating that through Him, God was pleased to reconcile all things to Himself. This proclamation reminds us of the magnitude of Christ’s sacrifice on the cross, where He served as the bridge between humankind and the divine. It speaks volumes about the inclusive nature of God’s love, encompassing all creation and providing an invitation for each individual to experience restoration and true unity with Him.

Paul continues by highlighting the transformative impact of this reconciliation. He emphasizes that those who were once alienated, separated, and even hostile towards God are now presented as blameless and holy in His sight, through sincere faith in Christ. This extraordinary truth holds a deep significance for believers, as it serves as a reminder of the profound change that has taken place within their lives.

Colossians 1:20-22 provides an awe-inspiring reminder of the universal scope of God’s reconciling love through Jesus Christ. It inspires believers to embrace their transformed identities and press forward in faith, living out the hope of the Gospel. May these verses serve as a constant source of encouragement and motivation, guiding us in our daily walk with the Lord.

PRAYER:

Heavenly Father,

We come before you, thankful for the reconciliation made possible through Jesus Christ. May we, too, extend the gift of reconciliation to those around us, that we may be reconciled to one another.

Help us forgive and seek unity, just as You have reconciled us to Yourself.

In Jesus’ name, we pray. Amen
