TODAY’S INSPIRATION: MARK 7V25-30.
“25 For a certain woman, whose young daughter had an unclean spirit, heard of him, and came and fell at his feet:
26 The woman was a Greek, a Syrophenician by nation; and she besought him that he would cast forth the devil out of her daughter.
27 But Jesus said unto her, Let the children first be filled: for it is not meet to take the children’s bread, and to cast it unto the dogs.
28 And she answered and said unto him, Yes, Lord: yet the dogs under the table eat of the children’s crumbs.
29 And he said unto her, For this saying go thy way; the devil is gone out of thy daughter.
30 And when she was come to her house, she found the devil gone out, and her daughter laid upon the bed.” (KJV)
INSPIRATION NOTE:
In Mark 7:25-30, we witness a powerful demonstration of God’s promise of deliverance.
This passage tells the story of a Gentile woman who approaches Jesus seeking help for her demon-possessed daughter. Despite initial resistance from Jesus, she persists with unwavering faith, believing in His ability to heal. Her humility and steadfast trust in God’s deliverance ultimately move Jesus, who commends her for her great faith and grants her request.
This encounter serves as a reminder that God’s promise of deliverance extends to all who earnestly seek Him, transcending boundaries and affirming the limitless power of His grace.
PRAYER:
Heavenly Father,
As we reflect on qMark 7:25-30, we are reminded of the Gentile woman’s unwavering faith and persistence in seeking Your deliverance.
Just as she approached Jesus with confidence, we come to You now, acknowledging Your power and mercy. Grant us the same faith, Lord, that we ,!mmay boldly come before You with our own needs and desires. Help us trust in Your promises of deliverance, knowing that Your grace knows no bounds.
